A cool, indulgent impression of iced pistachio introduces the fragrance, bringing a distinctive creamy nuttiness to the opening. Orange blossom then emerges at the heart, where its luminous floral character meets the smoky depth of incense and the rich warmth of tonka bean absolute. As the fragrance settles, ambrettolide combines with Dreamwood, vanilla and Cetalox, creating a smooth, enveloping base with musky, woody and softly sweet dimensions. The Bottle

Maison Matine’s artistic identity is immediately recognisable in the Un Jour Sans Fin bottle. The fragrance is housed in a clean, transparent rectangular glass flacon, allowing the warm golden-toned liquid to become part of the design. Its front carries a colourful graphic illustration by artist Mathilde Purseigle, combining soft lilac, yellow, pink, cream and earthy tones with the collection’s characteristically playful visual language. A large, pale speckled circular stopper gives the otherwise angular bottle a striking sculptural contrast and helps create a presentation that feels artistic, modern and unmistakably Maison Matine.

Environmental responsibility is built into Maison Matine’s approach. Un Jour Sans Fin is developed and manufactured in France using organic wheat alcohol, while the brand specifies recycled and recyclable packaging. Maison Matine also uses recycled and recyclable cardboard for its fragrance packaging and has removed cellophane to reduce unnecessary over-packaging and waste. Across its fragrance collection, the brand states that its formulas contain between 80% and 93% naturally derived ingredients, combining colourful independent perfumery with a more considered approach to production and presentation.

How to use:

• For light intensity: spray in a cloud around your head and shoulders, let the fragrance fall gently around you.
• For medium intensity: spray in a y-shape across your body, beginning at one shoulder and finishing at the other. If you are wearing jewellery it is a great alternative to spraying your neck.
• For added intensity: apply perfume directly to your pulse points and / or hot spots (wrist, inner elbow and lower neck). Here the heat of your body will allow the fragrance to reveal its full trail. Include shoulders and back to intensify your perfume trail

Hold the fragrance approx 5 inches away and spray your skin, focusing on pulse points (neck, wrists etc) and/or spray generously in front of you and walk through for a full coverage. Don’t rub the fragrance in, as it will affect the trail.
