Jardin du Poete opens in a citrus blaze of bitter orange and tangy grapefruit tempered by sweet aromatic notes of basil. The heart combines the warmth of spicy pink pepper withe the earthy florality of angelica and helicrysum creating a feeling of walking along woody garden paths under the warmth of the Mediterranean sun. This woody sweetness re-interprets itself in the base of fragrant cypress and earthy, leathery, vetiver – reminiscent of laying on a bed of uncut grass on a warm day – and a trail of warm leather musk.
